Governorship hopeful in Delta State, Engr. Omovigho Edafeghwara has thrown his the weight behind former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar & other
Nigerians in calling for a drastic approach towards curtailing the spread of
the dreaded Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Reacting to
the news of the first confirmed coronavirus patient in Lagos Nigeria, the
renowned philanthropist called on the Federal Govt through the Ministry of
Aviation to immediately cancel all flights to and fro Countries affected by
this virus.
Speaking to
Journalists at the Osubi Airport, Warri Delta State, the soft-spoken politician
stated that his Foundation, Edafeghwara Omos Foundation will kickstart an
awareness and sensitization campaign to enlighten deltas and Nigerians at large
on how to relate with others to prevent the spread of this virus.
"I want
to use this medium to call on President Buhari to immediately direct the
Ministry of Aviation in collaboration with Foreign affairs to cancel all flights
from affected countries"
"Nigerians
are currently going through a lot of Economic and security challenges, we
cannot afford to add the corona virus outbreak to it. Something drastic and urgent
has to be done to avoid the spread of this dreaded virus" he stated.
"Government
cannot do it alone, as individuals we have to come out with safety measures in
our communities, neighborhoods, and environment.
My
Foundation, Edafeghwara Omos Foundation will commence door to door
sensitization/awareness campaign to abreast Nigerians on how to relate with
others and sick persons. I can assure you that Nigeria as a Nation will come
out of this like we did with Ebola and others" he stated.
